During the last independence day anniversary of my dear home country, Nigeria, I found myself in some deep, prodding thought where I begin to ask some thought-provoking questions.
Independence should connote freedom; isn’t it?
But how free are we as a nation?
Not quite long did I sink in this thought that I realized that I wasn’t really about dear country’s freedom or the lack of it – there has been so much discourse on that.
My mind was, in reality pondering on the question of my and your freedom.
How many people are indeed living free?
What is Freedom, though?
How is it different from Liberty?
How do the two interrelate?
